Fresh out of the kiln!

I just wanted to share some of the new designs I carved into some porcelain clay.
Some are stamps and some are rollers. I can't wait to see how they work out!

Crocheted Rug

I have been working on all sorts of things lately and am trying to finish up works in progress. This rug I started last year and has been taunting me every time I happen upon it. I am using tarn I made from my husbands old tee-shirts and Cascades Tangier's yarn. I am using an H hook and going into a continuous spiral of single crochets around the tarn and adding a 2 sc into the same stitch every now and then to keep it flat. If it gets too ruffled  I l know that I added too many 2sc in the same stitch. I guess I am winging it. This looks great with cotton yarn too. I am using the Tangier's this time because it goes with the rustic thing ingot going on in my living room.

I will keep pictures posted of my progress to hopefully keep me on task!

Tie-Dyed Tarn Pot Holders

My husbands old tee-shirts were all white which makes a very boring ball of tarn.  I decided to infuse them in a rainbow of colors using a Tulip tie- dye kit. It was super easy I layed out my tarn in long skeins on top if plastic and squirt the colors in yellow, red, blue pattern. Once soaked I covered with plastic for several hours. I rinsed until it ran clear then dried. Tadaa! Beautiful rainbow skeins!

Several months ago I started up a store at Artisan Component Marketplace. I put a few things in it but I had been to busy to put much time into it. With the declining sales of my Etsy store and not wanting to keep paying massive fees on renewals I decided to move my handmade components over to my new store.

 I am still keeping my etsy store but I am going to use it to focus on selling my miniatures and jewelry.

Fire Sale! Half off in My Etsy Store JeraLuna Designs

I have over a hundred listings that will expire in my Etsy shop this Friday and I would like to clear those babies out instead of renewing them. To do this I have put up a coupon FIRESALE that is good until this Friday for %50 percent off your order with the purchase of $10 dollars or more. I had to put a minimum purchase because last time I had a big sale and didn't have a minimum purchase I found myself with a lot of 2-3 dollar orders to fill.

When the sale is done I have decided to  transfer my components over to my Artisan Component Marketplace store. I am really excited about this new venue. It is a handmade component sellers venue which they jury your work before you are accepted and that means no crappy imports from China are flooding it! So your work is not buried in a sea of crap.

I am still going to use my Etsy shop to sell my Miniatures and Jewelry. I think it will be a good change.
